From coast to coast, even subs are contacting me about D R Hortons RICO activities regarding violation of Federal Employment Law:
Virginia: "It is hard to work for a company and do good work when the company itself finds ways to cut your paycheck short. The finger pointing begins and no-one wants to complete their job until it is settled. And we can be talking thousands of dollars. That in no way excuses the lousy work some contractors do, but it is up to D R Horton to be sure of who they hire and the quality of the work. After just a few months, we left. It was an awful circumstance to be in when you can see the lying and cheating going on all around you."
South Carolina: "I was a D R Horton insider for 5 years as the warranty manager in Greenville South Carolina. If anyone wants to know what D R Horton is really about please call me. If you live in a D R Horton home in Greenville and are having warranty issue I may be able to help."
Oklahoma: "We have had nothing but trouble with them from the beginning and it all started with the signing of the Contract which is absolutely absurd! But never the less, DR Horton has been terrible about paying us what we are owed and is constantly withholding money for one ignorant reason or another or just saying “it was lost in the mail”!! "
Washington: Cleaning company which would do post construction clean up was bilked out of thousands of dollars for reasons made up by management in efforts to simply not pay.
Florida: Subcontractor who states that other subs were sub standard and that he would have to correct their work. Since he couldnt continue losing time and money, he no longer deals with D R Horton.
Oregon: Framer whose final payment was withheld for no good reason other than that D R Horton wanted to pocket the cash.
